Rules for membership


To join the HCHDC, you need to fulfill certain criteria:*

1. Drive your car with the hood down in one of the following weather conditions:
  • Rain -not drizzle ;)
  • Snow
  • Hail
2. There must be either photographic or video evidence of the event which must;
  • Identify the driver, or his/her car
  • Clearly show the weather conditions (above)
  • Clearly show the vehicle in motion
3. iIt is preferred if the evidence also shows the event taking place on a public road or other
 public area.

4. It is illegal to use a camera or phone whilst driving in the UK.  Make sure your passenger
    does the filming!!!

*It is not a requirement to drive around 365 days a year,  24 hours a day.  As long as you actually enjoy  putting your roof down in extreme weather, then you are welcome. You can even own a hardtop (as long as you dont keep it on all year !!)
